Being graduated back in 2008 from the "Saint-Petersburg’s College of Marine Engineering" as a Naval Architect with a strong bias in Marine Engineering, I’m proud to say that our release was the last (before the disbandment of the college) group of students who have been trained in the unique environment, and by the unique professionals who belonged to so-called “Old Russian Marine Engineering School”. The main philosophy of the school was to pass on a diversified skillset to the students. Such skillset included: the ability to think critically, analyze comprehensively, see the overall picture and notice the details, build the product using an isometric imagination of our mind before this is put onto the drawing, work both independently and in a team not being afraid to admit that we might not know something, being able to look for the answers and seek the required knowledge, treat our colleagues as equals and share our experience with those who need the help. Over the years, all this helped me to handle high-value projects with different levels of involvement and complexity. Whether it is a Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Project Management, Marine Survey, or all in one – I would gladly say that in every challenge we face there is always a solution.
Being trained as a Naval Architect who is capable of delivering design and engineering for large-scale vessels (e.g. oil tankers, general cargo vessels, passenger ships, etc), Captain is currently specializing in Small Craft business, specifically oriented to Superyacht Tenders and high-speed crafts for Special Forces (NATO).
